Inner Bloom Counseling · A gentle beginning
How Online Therapy Works
Real connection, from a space that feels comfortable to you.

1. Connect
Request a consultation with Rylee and share a little about the support you’re seeking.
2. Plan
Discuss fit, complete required paperwork, and verify insurance or confirm payment arrangements.
3. Begin
Schedule your first therapy session and receive instructions for joining online.
Where can I attend sessions?
These services are offered to clients physically located in Colorado. Tell Rylee about travel or out-of-state college plans before scheduling. Residency alone does not establish eligibility while you are elsewhere.
What technology do I need?
A reliable internet connection, a device with a working camera and microphone, and the ability to use the session platform. Joining instructions are provided before your appointment. Ask about a backup plan if the connection fails.
How do I prepare my space?
Choose a private place where you can talk without being overheard. Headphones may help. Set aside appointment time and reduce distractions. For a child, ask Rylee about setup and any materials beforehand.
Will I be involved in my child’s care?
Caregiver participation depends on age, needs, and the treatment plan. Rylee will explain check-ins, when you need to be available, and how confidentiality works.
What if online counseling isn’t a good fit?
Fit is discussed during consultation and reviewed over time. Some clients need in-person care or a different level or type of support. Discuss appropriate next steps with Rylee.
How are fees and insurance handled?
Benefits, provider participation, and the practice arrangement must be verified before therapy begins. See Fees & Insurance for an explanation of what to ask.
Why might I see Illuminate’s name?
Inner Bloom is Rylee’s independently operated business. Illuminate Play Therapy & Counseling contracts with Inner Bloom for her clinical services. Before care begins, you will receive information about the responsible practice and applicable scheduling, billing, records, and privacy processes.
